Well actually I think my account here it's going to be cancelled after this but it would be good if at least a couple of persons get to read this...
Here's the thing: I haven't checked my account here for a long time due to many personal issues I've been having and, when I finally had the chance to do so, I found out that one of my works has been reported and deleted, not even giving me the chance to defend myself. This had happened in the past with a signature tutorial I've uploaded. Both were reported as "art theft"... Back then, I remained silent because I inteded to first, check again all the rules and policies, and then sent a message to the so called "Help-desk"... obviously I've never got a reply but I've let it slip since I though it was never going to happen again, then I started being even more cautious about adding the copyrights info in each of my works. As you can see, I lack creativity and most of my works consists on vectors based on famous anime artists, and I've always put in the notes who was the original author of the original images... same happened with a batch of signatures I've uploaded... but they were deleted claiming that they were "theft" as well. The last case, concerned to a manga panel from the Bleach manga which I colored, and I've never claimed the line art to be mine, I specified the fact that the manga and the image itself was taken from the manga and that the manga belongs to Kubo Tite and not to me. I colored... it took me many nights to finish it, and I still have the psd file to prove I've colored it... but still, the piece was catalogued as "art theft" and of "violating the copyrights policy".
Before becoming a member of DA I've spent a long time browsing the galleries of many users and thinking about how talented most of them are, and in all that time I've seen MANY colored manga panels, which are still around, and in all of them, they specified the fact that the line art doesn't belong to them but to the original manga artists... still, mine was deleted accusing me of something I find really offensive. This time I won't waste my time sending a message it won't be replied, so I decided to let people know about this in this silly way.
Imo... seems that DA discriminates those who cannot afford for whatever reason, to purchase a subscription because, instead of asking me to prove that I'm the one who made them by showing the original psd files, and plus, never claiming that the characters, line art or whatever it's not mine, they just delete them. I know the rules of this site, and I know that, sadly, that's not how things work... but I still wonder why is that they let some people to keep their works up while they delete mine without giving some reasonable lapse of time to say something... and I'm sure I'm not the only one who had to deal with a situation like this.

In any case... I think DA won't like this so if this is my first and last journal entry, I thank to everyone who ever browsed around my gallery and to all those that posted comments on my vectors, I'm still working on a couple of those (probably some of the hardest I've ever worked on), so if I'm not able to post them here, I think that eventually I'll find a different way
